A TV bed conceals a television inside its footboard and raises it for viewing using a lift mechanism. The right choice depends on the television’s physical dimensions and weight, the bed’s overall footprint and the storage configuration of the particular model.

How do you check whether your television will fit?

Screen diagonal alone is not enough. Record the television model number, full width, height, depth and weight, and check these against the footboard cavity and lift specifications. Confirm mounting compatibility and whether the stand needs to be removed. Ask Stratus to confirm compatibility before buying the television or bed.

Does every TV bed include storage?

No. TV concealment and under-bed storage are separate features. Check the selected model and option rather than assuming a TV bed is also an ottoman bed. If an ottoman option is offered, confirm the usable storage space and any restrictions caused by the lift mechanism or wiring.

What is included?

Check the individual listing and selected options for the frame, lift mechanism, controls, mattress and fitting. Do not assume the television is included. Confirm any extras with our team before checkout.

How much bedroom space should you allow?

Use the complete assembled bed length, including the TV footboard, rather than the mattress length. Mark the footprint on the floor and check walking space, wardrobe doors, drawers and any storage-opening clearance. Keep the screen’s raising path clear of objects.

What should you ask about electrics?

Confirm the power requirements, socket position, cable routing and access to connections. Follow the supplied installation and operating instructions. Keep cables clear of moving parts and ask the team about fitting if you are unsure.

How do you plan delivery?

Measure narrow doorways, stairs, turns and landings. Request the largest packed-component dimensions, especially the TV footboard. Standard delivery and room delivery or assembly are different services; confirm what is agreed for your order.
